In keeping with our desire to produce much of our food on the property, we keep a small herd of Nubian dairy goats. Our interactions with these vastly entertaining companions have become an important part of our daily routine. Their frolicksome ways and irreverant sensibilities have endeared them to us and we look forward to daily rambles with our tribe. We adopted our herd matriarchs, Jezebel and Priscilla, as young kids. While watching them grow up has been delightful, we have been eagerly anticipating the first births here on the farm and the arrival of our own fresh supply of milk. Our patience has been rewarded and it is with great pride that we announce the arrival of Jezebel’s doeling, Delilah and Priscilla’s two bucklings, Cooper and Tristan…We are members of the American Dairy Goat Association and will offer registered Nubian kids in the Spring of 2011.
